What is Cognitive Hypnotherapy? How can it help?

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is an evidence-based individualistic framework - taking aspects from therapies such as CBT, NLP and other Cognitive Therapies.

This is not traditional Hypnotherapy, there are no scripts, we don’t treat the label, we utilise the uniqueness of an individuals needs.

In a sense, your life experiences have hypnotised you into believing certain things that can get in the way of your life. These experiences can shape your life without you realising it. 

Luckily, Neuroscience has highlighted the human brain’s plasticity through it’s ability to always be adapted.

By working to reprogramme your brain to function how you want it to, you can choose who you want to be.

So in the words of Bruce Lee - “be like water my friend - shapeless”

So why me?

I trained at the internationally renowned Quest Institute at Regents college in London with the founder of Cognitive Hypnotherapy Trevor Silvester. Together with my diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy, I gained a diploma as a NLP practitioner, both which are verified by the NCH; accredited by the QNHC.

Growing up as a young person in the current day and age can be tricky. Life can throw many problems at them, many of which are new and confusing.

I run an accredited private practice specialising in work with young people/sportspersons to navigate their problems and optimise their lives.

I’ve been there

When I first received therapy, I was a sceptical teenager, struggling with anxiety, depression, lack of confidence and stress.

However - what I quickly realised is, like many others, I was getting in the way of my own improvement .

Therapy worked for me, so it can work for you.

Whatever it might be that you feel is holding you back, big or small, I strive to provide a personal service tailored to you and your needs.

What can I do to help?

In this modern era, it is more important than ever to care for ourselves. Young people are facing a mental health epidemic.

I provide a specialised service focusing towards young adults, children and athletes to re-gain their best mental self.
